The Adventures of Pman & Pookie

My Grandson really enjoyed this book because he has and had dogs resembling these so it made him more excited to read it.

I read this story to my son at bedtime — he really enjoyed the cheerful energy and sweet friendship between the two dogs. Some parts felt a bit random, and the ending could have been clearer, but overall it was a cute and cozy read to end the evening.

Zona Petrelli’s latest edition of The Adventures of Pman and Pookie is pure puppy-powered joy from start to finish. I laughed aloud as Pman’s daring butterfly chase landed him in a muddy puddle (twice!), and my heart melted at Pookie’s gentle encouragement when her bandana blew away in the breeze. The duo’s chemistry—Pman’s bold spirit balanced by Pookie’s tender curiosity—makes every short chapter shine.

The Adventures of Pman & Pookie is a simple and perfect read for young readers. The book is about the duo getting silly surprises and teachable moments about friendship and kindness. My 7 years old love to read this book and has become favorite at bedtime.

We really enjoyed this fun doggy story, about Pman and Pookie, who get up to all kinds of doggy mischief. Lots of action and fun illustrations. There is quite a lot of text for this age readers, but obviously grown-ups will be doing the reading and equally there are loads of pictures.
